Special Price - One night photography tour to Hill End
Special price of $295 per person will not be repeated.
Only available for four participants Historic Hill End Goldfields overnight landscape photography tour
Located west of Bathurst in New South Wales, Australia, Hill End is set in the heart of the old goldfields.
Hill End is located in a stunning area of the central west surrounded by many volcanic vents which has created stunning scenery as the tour leaves Bathurst heading west. Before reaching Hill End you will stop in the famous Blue Mountains for a "cuppa" in beautiful Leura and visit a lovely rain forest location.
Upon reaching Hill End you will be taken to your really comfortable accommodation for the night and enjoy a country style dinner, and, you may see Kangaroo on the lawn outside your room. If you see the really big fella just say "Hello" and leave him to his nibbling of the grass. Next morning you will see many Crimson Rosella's and Lorikeet's waiting at the dining room for breakfast! Develop your photography skills or just sight see around the houses dating back to the 1850's
Explore the 1850's Hill End Gold Fields with its historic village, panoramas and abundance of wild life. Kangaroo in the hundreds, and they love to pose for their portrait shot! So bring a "big" lens to grab that superb image that your friends will envy.
Visit the gold mines and photograph rickety old buildings with rusty roofs and leaning fences. These homes are now being repaired and brought back to their former 1850's glory by New South Wales National Parks.
Try your hand at dawn and sunrise photography over the Turon river valley with its superb panoramas. See the erosion and gorges caused by the old Chinese miners with its unique man sized tunnels. When the light is just right a lovely golden hue is thrown onto the tunnels.
Whilst driving we keep an ever watchful eye open for kangaroo's, magnificent wild goats and the odd wombat.
We guide and choose the best locations and teach or assist with your photography.
We do not want you to leave and not capture our stunning fauna, flora, geology and views.
